ETP Students start off the Fall Term with great activities!

The Environmental Technology Program (ETP) has always been known for its hands-on training and activities. This Fall Term wasn’t the exception! Check out the first week of the ETP Program and the great activities they had to start off the Fall Term.

Nunavut Arctic College would like to thank the Department of Environment for sending two of their finest Environmental Protection Officers to deliver the Department’s Spill Response course to our second-year ETP student. Both officers are ETP Alumni!

Thanks, Sean Nowdlak-Noble (Class of 2016) and Etaungat Akeeagok (Class of 2018) for teaching our current second years. We would also like to send a big thank-you to Blaine Heffernan for delivering the Canadian Firearms Safety course to our first-year students. Blaine has been reliably and skillfully teaching our students the ‘ins and outs’ of firearms safety for over ten years, and his practical and teaching experience extends far beyond that. Well done Blaine!

The first week of class is over! Next up: Fall Field Camp! Let the adventure begin!
