Student mobility at Nunavut Arctic College
Students with Latitude !
North2north is a student exchange program that gives students the opportunity to
study at another UArctic member institution for a period of 3-12 months*. The
time period is dependent on student needs and the structure of the college and
the host institution. Courses taken may not be available at Arctic College and
are credited towards program completion at the College. Of course, the value of
the knowledge gained outside the classroom is beyond measurement. (* Exchanges
of shorter duration and for groups of students and faculty can be arranged at
the request of the sending institution.)
Arctic College has been sending and receiving students in the program since
2004:
Andrea, one of our Environmental Technology students, attended the Sami
Education Centre in Inari Finland, 2004.
Ideal candidates for this mobility program are studying in a field that is
relevant to the North and are dedicated to making a contribution to Nunavut.
Participation in the n2n mobility program often increases employment options for
our graduates.
Arctic College students who are interested in learning more about the program
can check out the
UArctic n2n website.
