New facility under construction for Nunavut Research Institute in Rankin Inlet

A new research support facility for the Nunavut Research Institute is almost complete in Rankin Inlet. The new building will support visiting researchers and provide them with lab space for their work, thanks to funding from the Government of Canada's Arctic Research Infrastructure Fund.

Caribou are an extremely important resource to Nunavummiut. A territory-wide strategy for Caribou management is needed. By working together, and bringing together our knowledge and resources, we can ensure that there will be Caribou for future generations.
