Finding Journal Articles
The Nunatta Campus Library subscribes to a range print journals; the titles and
holdings for these journals can be found in the library catalogue (please refer
to our Finding Books and Videos page).
While these journals are valuable resources, they are non-circulating and are
only directly accessible by staff and students in Iqaluit. Fortunately, NAC
staff and students throughout the territory can directly access hundreds of
journals, and thousands of articles, through the library's subscription to
ProQuest.
NAC staff and students in any discipline should be able to find articles of
interest in ProQuest, because the library's subscription to this database
includes a range of subject areas.
ProQuest can be accessed via the Internet at
http://proquest.umi.com/login. A username and password are required to
access the database. NAC staff and students can contact the Nunatta Campus
Library staff (contact information is available on our
About the Library page) to gain the required login information.
For tips on how to use ProQuest, contact the library staff or download
this
instruction guide.
