About the Library

Nunavut Arctic College (NAC) library services exist to serve the students and staff of the college community by providing materials, services and facilities that complement and support the college programs of study.

The majority of our library collection is held at the Nunatta Campus Library in Iqaluit, with growing collections and services also available at the Kivalliq Campus Library in Rankin Inlet, and the Kitikmeot Campus Library in Cambridge Bay. Arctic College staff and students in all other communities are encouraged to contact the library staff at the Nunatta Campus Library for information about the library services available to them.

The library is also home to special, non-circulating collections of rare and out-of-print books, such as the Taylor and Pilot collections on archaeology and Arctic exploration.
