Two Year Term

The Instructor, Management Studies provides certificate and diploma level training in Management Studies and Business Administration.  Reporting to the Senior Instructor, the incumbent will provide high quality education to students seeking employment in business or government or seeking access to higher education opportunities.  Responsibilities of course delivery require the instructor to have a high level of theoretical competence in accounting, finance, and other business fields.  The Instructor, Management Studies will plan and deliver business related courses which include: Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Small Business Management, Economics, Finance, Business Math, Contract Law, Statistics, and Computer Applications.  The Instructor will also counsel and tutor students, evaluate student progress and develop and evaluate course content to ensure accuracy and relevancy.

Under the supervision of the Senior Instructor, Environmental Technology Program the incumbent will plan and deliver course content in classroom, laboratory, and field settings. The Instructor, ETP will assist with the research and development of course content and will review program curriculum to ensure content is accurate and current.  The incumbent will also assist with organizing field camp excursions and instructing field curriculum while ensuring the safety of up to 25 students.
