The online course which is affiliated with the University of the Arctic introduces students to the geography, and biological and physical systems of the Arctic and sub-Arctic. It also includes an overview of the aboriginal peoples and contemporary issues of the region. This course will also focus on building skills in critical thinking, essay writing and online learning.
All course information will be accessible online and a bilingual course instructor
will be available online and in Iqaluit to support learners.
Applicants will be considered on an individual basis but should be able to read and write English at the College level.
