Nunavut Teacher Education Program congratulates award winning graduates

The Nunavut Teacher Education Program graduation ceremonies for Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Cambridge Bay are now concluded. We wish to thank the following for their support of the Education Awards program:

The award for Highest Academic Average in the Nunavut Teacher Education Program was awarded to Laura Merritt from Kivalliq Campus. Thank you to the Nunavut Teachers Association (NTA) for their kind donation and support.

The Nunavut Teacher Education Program Inuit Language Proficiency Awards were presented to:

  • Monica Kigutak, Kitikmeot Campus. This award was graciously donated by Kenn Harper..
  • Emma Pauloosie Kitikmeot Campus. Thank you to NTEP for supporting this award.
  • Kayylynn Kusugak Kivalliq Campus. This award was graciously donated by Kenn Harper..

Nunavut Teacher Education Program's Teacher Practicum Awards were presented to:

  • Monica Kigutak Kitikmeot Campus. This award was donated by Kitikmeot Regional School Operations.
  • Laura Merritt Kivalliq Campus. This award was donated by Kivalliq Regional School Operations.
  • Jolene Itkilik Nunatta Campus This award was donated by Qikiqtani Regional School Operations.
